The UJA Federation of Greenwich is a nonprofit Jewish philanthropic organization. The Greenwich branch serves as a community resource, coordinating the efforts of various synagogues and Jewish groups in town.
UJA oversees a number of programs including the Young Families Division, Newcomers Network and Adult Education. The organization is also involved in the Young Emissary Program, which is a volunteer opportunity for high school graduates, as well as the Israel Experience for Teens and Teen Tzedakah.
Throughout the year the UJA sponsors community-wide events, such as the celebration of Israel Independence Day, a Holocaust Memorial Service and Education Day.
