Geriatric Housecall Dentistry is proud to serve the growing community of elderly patients who are in need of dental work but cannot leave their home. Dr. Desiree Outlaw serves dental patients residing in and around Connecticut. Do you, or someone you know need dental work but can’t leave their house? Dr. Desiree Outlaw will travel on-site to help you or your loved one get the treatment they need. Dr. Outlaw is an experienced and gentle dentist with a nurturing demeanor. Throughout her career she has had a passion for caring for patients who just need someone caring to be patient with them. She is highly recommended by patients who are afraid of the dentist as well as by the caretakers of patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities Dr. Outlaw is a two-time graduate of Howard University’s College of Dentistry, having completed both her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree and Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency on-site. In this clinic, she had the opportunity to work very closely with prosthodontic faculty with an urban patient base comprised mostly of senior citizens, ESL immigrants, medically complex, full mouth rehabilitation, and pediatric patients. Immediately following residency, Dr. Outlaw took a position with the Cerebral Palsy Association of the North Country, a disability services and support organization. Here she was able to realize her full potential serving the dental care needs of special needs populations of all ages. Dr. Outlaw is proud to serve as a geriatric house call dentist, honoring those who were once our caretakers and are deserving of the same kindness and care given to us. She is available to treat patients throughout Connecticut as well as Duchess, Putnam, and Westchester counties in New York.
