The Saugatuck Congregational Church is a United Church of Christ church that was founded in the 1830s. Rev. Dr. John H. Danner served as the Senior Pastor of the congregation since 2001. Rev. Howie Tobak is now the interim minister. Sunday worship services are at 8am and 10am except in the summer, when the 8am service is replaced by an 8:30am seaside service at Compo Beach with other congregations. Vespers are held on Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm. Adult programs offered at the church are many and varied. In addition to Biblical studies, adults may participate in yoga, the Women's Spirituality Group, the Senior Men's Group and the EarthCare/EarthShare program. Youth choir and religious education are also offered for the younger members of the congregation.
