Felician Sisters, founded in 1855 and based in Enfield, Conn., offers a range of services to the area community. The organization is spread across four continents and has a staff of more than 2,300 people. Its primary ministries include health care and education. It also operates several organizations, including a girls academy and junior college. Additionally, it is responsible for staffing more than ten parish schools and the sponsorship of a hospital in Bangor, Maine. The international headquarters of the Felician Sisters are situated in Rome. There are 12 provinces around the world where the organization has a presence in, including Poland, United States, Brazil and Canada.
