Farmington Fire Station is managed by the Town of Farmington Fire Department, which is governed by the Town of Farmington in Connecticut. The department provides fire, rescue and emergency medical services. The Town of Farmington Fire Department employs a staff of more than 150 people. The department, in conjunction with the Farmington Community Services Department, administers the Farmington Firehawks Program, which educates youths about the dangers of setting fire. It also manages a fire safety trailer program. Incorporated in 1645, the Town of Farmington in Connecticut operates police, public works, housing, finance and purchasing, and planning and economic development departments.
