The Coordinating Council for Children in Crisis, also known as CCCC, is a private, nonprofit agency that provides a range of support services for the victims of abuse, neglect and violence. Founded in 1977, it offers home visitation, outreach, parenting education, counseling and advocacy services for children and adults. The agency administers the Neighborhood Victim Advocacy Program, which includes education services for the victims of domestic violence, robbery, burglary and assault. Coordinating Council for Children in Crisis provides home-based parent education, support, family advocacy, referral and case management services to prevent child abuse through its Parent Education Program. It conducts the Family Violence Outreach Program, which features specialized outreach, therapeutic and support services for abused women and children. Coordinating Council for Children in Crisis is located in New Haven, Conn.
