History
For over 16 years, Lisa has identified, evaluated, treated and counseled children and adults with a variety of neurologically and developmentally-based communication disorders. Lisa worked in the West Hartford Public School System where she evaluated and treated students from kindergarten-5th grade with ADHD, Autism Spectrum disorders, language disorders, fluency issues, articulation disorders and brain injury. She was involved in extensive Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings and in the creation of goal directed Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for special education students. In recent years, Lisa has provided private services to children, adolescents and adults. Additionally, she has conducted parent education and teacher training workshops on various topics in her local community to increase awareness of developmental disorders in children, promote early intervention and provide the needed parent and family support.
