Daniel Hand High School
Daniel Hand High School, located in Madison, Conn., offers a variety of programs to students for enhancing moral, ethical and cultural development. It has an enrollment of more than 1,200 students in grades nine through 12. The school offers studies in various academic disciplines, such as language arts, science, music, computers, social studies, accounting, history, and physical and health education. The institution provides foreign language classes in French and Latin. It also organizes visual arts classes and provides information regarding basic designing, painting, printing and clay modeling. The organization has the National Honor Society, and clubs, such as technology information, guidance, financial assistance and career enhancement. The student council of the school runs various charities, including book drive, and blood donation camps, and provides Christmas presents to the needy.
