The Crisis Pregnancy Center was started by women to help women who feel they are alone during their pregnancy and afterward.
Out of the small office, Deborah Laws, who has been the center's director for 25 years, connects women with community services and adoption services. Amid the baskets of toys and pictures of healthy babies, she also provides support and counseling services, distributes donated baby items and listens.
The office is upstairs in the building by the Unionville Post Office. The Crisis Pregnancy Center is a nonprofit Christian organization and is supported by donations.
