Founded in 1999, the Court Support Services Division, also known as CCSD, is governed by the State of Connecticut Judicial Branch. It offers a range of public safety services. The division works in collaboration with the office of bail commissioner and family services division. The Court Support Services Division provides family civil and criminal court services. It operates human resources, information technology, grants and contracts, facilities and material management, and fiscal administration and restitution units. The division also operates a research, program analysis and quality improvement center. The Court Support Services Division offers various residential and adult probation services. It administers a variety of alcohol education programs. The division provides several juvenile detention services. In addition, the Court Support Services Division conducts various staff development training programs and provides online newsletters.
