Meriden Meals on Wheels serves hot meals to residents who are over 60 or disabled. Individuals may purchase their own meals by phoning the direct line, while those who qualify for free food must schedule delivery through their social worker. One hot meal five days a week costs $15; one hot meal plus one sandwich five days a week costs $20; one hot meal seven days a week costs $21; and one hot meal and one sandwich seven days a week costs $28. Customers must be on a five- or seven-day plan. Deliveries are made between 10:30am and 1pm.
