The Connecticut chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP), the Connecticut College of Emergency Physicians (CCEP) operates as a professional organization of more than 400 state-based doctors, with a stated goal of supporting excellent emergency medical care through lobbying efforts and education. Founded in 1969, ACEP currently comprises approximately 25,000 members across the country.
