The Citizen's News is a weekly newspaper, based in Naugatuck, that delivers weekly editions to the borough, Prospect and Beacon Falls. In 2009, The Citizen's News was honored by the Connecticut Society of Professional Journalists with 13 Excellence in Journalism awards in the community, non-daily category. The current editor is Brendan Cox.
