Avon Middle School is a part of the Avon Public Schools District, for students of grades seven to eight. Each grade has three academic terms, each team includes English, social studies, science and math. The school s curriculum is grounded in public academic standards for what students should know and be able to do, relevant to the concerns of adolescents and based on how students learn best. Avon Middle School involves parents and communities in supporting student learning and healthy development. Students attending Avon Middle School take two-class periods of unified arts. These classes include art, music, drama, academic enrichment, band, choir, strings, physical education, health, family and consumer science and technology education.
