Founded in 1996, Bethel Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church offers its 85-member congregation Sunday worship service, Sunday church school and weekly Bible study meetings. The church, presided over by Pastor Desmond Hamilton in 2010, also runs a thrift store and holds a "family fellowship" dinner twice a month for those in the neighborhood in need of a hot meal.
