Devon Precision was established in 1967 with three Swiss screw machines inside a converted gas station in Waterbury, Ct. Devon gained a reputation for quality work. Over a short period of time. the business grew rapidly. Devon rented additional buildings and added more equipment. Devon moved its production facilities and executive offices to Wolcott, Ct. in 1974 and subsequently doubled its manufacturing area in 1982.Devon achieved ISO 9001: 2000 certification in 1997 as a result of continued quality improvement. The expansion of the manufacturing facilities was generated by management's desire to better service its customers' demands. The continued growth of manufacturing expertise and versatility is attributed to the demands of customers who are seeking a diversified and highly competent supplier of precision parts.
