History
Artisan opened on July 13th, 2011. It marks the second collaboration between Rick Wahlstedt, owner of L'Escale in Greenwich, as well as La Goulue, Japonais, and Le Colonial, and Charles Mallory, Founder and Partner of the Greenwich Hospitality Group. Frederic Kieffer, the opening Chef of L'Escale at the Delamar Greenwich Harbor, will serve as Artisan's Executive Chef and Partner.

Artisan restaurant has an understated ambience that combines New England tavern warmth with 18th century Scandinavian design. Chef and Partner Frederic Kieffer's desire to support sustainable agriculture is shown through seasonally inspired, farm to table menus as well as his contemporary approach to New England classics. The restaurant offers dining in the tavern as well as the relaxed yet elegant main dining room. Artisan also has a beautiful outdoor garden and a full service bar, a perfect place to enjoy dining al fresco.
