Whitney High School East/West is operated by ACES and serves students 14 to 21 who have special needs. As part of their education, students are helped through the transition to adult life after school ends in three areas: employment, independent living and community participation. A medical component to the student's education offers therapy programs and mental health services. Whitney High School North is for seriously emotionally disturbed students. It is located next to Whitney High School East/West and offers a full academic and vocational program.
