Ackley's Package Store has been in Groton since 1945. Allen Ackley inherited the business from his father. The store offers a full range of wines, liquor and beer. Discounts are available on cases. Ackley's will also take customers' special orders including kegs, preferred beers and wines and spirits. On weekends, there is a second location that opens down the street (35 Fort Hill Road) across from Johnson's True Value.
