Rebecca Strobel, Realtor with RE/MAX & Realty Boutique Services
You’ve heard of Military Brats? Well, you might call me a Real Estate Brat! My mother was an amazingly successful real estate Broker in Minnesota and in the interest of family togetherness; I was answering my mother’s phone calls and holding open houses at the ripe old age of 13. It took me awhile to formally enter the Real Estate world as an adult, but once I did, I knew I’d made the right decision. I learned a lot from watching my Mom, and I bring the lessons I learned from her to my own real estate business. I learned that success in a real estate career isn’t about being a Super Salesperson who can memorize 100 closing scripts and shoot a hole in any objection from 100 yards. It’s not about how many For Sale signs have my name on them or how many recipe cards I mail out every month. It’s not even about how many award plaques hang on my wall celebrating the number of homes I sold last year. No, to me, having a successful real estate business means that my clients are satisfied, even thrilled with the service they receive from me. If providing thrill-worthy service means that I don’t win any Agent-of-the-Year awards because I’m focusing my attention on my clients who have already honored me with their business as opposed to incessantly chasing down my future clients, I’m fine with that. If I don’t have 50 Rebecca Strobel For Sale signs scattered around town, but I DO have ten Rebecca Strobel SOLD signs in front of my clients’ homes, I’m a happy girl. And if my business is 90% referral-based (which it is), I take that as a sign that I’m doing something very very right! At the risk of sharing too much, I’d like to tell you a little bit more about me. I’m married to an amazing man who is also a business owner. We have two precious canine kids and are both extremely passionate about animal rescue – any kind of animal any kind of rescue. I volunteer for twelve different rescue and transport groups. A portion of each commission goes to one of the rescue groups who is most in need at that particular time. (Also, don’t be surprised if when we’re out looking at houses, I stop to pick up a stray critter or two – my SUV is fully stray-critter-equipped!) On a more personal note, I recently survived thyroid cancer (I’m completely recovered), but unfortunately, a side effect of my treatment was that my Alopecia became pretty pronounced…Heck, to be honest, I lost all my hair – permanently. Quite an adjustment for me as you can imagine, but the silver lining is that – well, there are two silver linings. First, I can justify owning exquisite wigs custom-created for me and second, I was inspired to work with women, men and children who have also suffered from hairloss, and the experience has been life-changing for me. But enough about me, let’s talk about you. If you’re looking for just the right real estate agent in the Denver area and you like what you’ve read so far, let’s talk. No pressure, no obligation and absolutely no cheesy sales pitches. In fact, you’ll probably do most of the talking because YOU’RE the one who wants to buy or sell a home and that makes YOU the most important person in the room! And I truly want to hear what you have to say. I’m here – ready, willing and able to go to work for you.
