Western Healthcare Alliance (WHA) is a health network and shared services membership organization founded in 1989 to strengthen the financial operations of healthcare organizations so they can better serve the health needs of their individual communities. WHA currently has 28 healthcare members in Colorado and Utah. Of these 28 members, 21 own Healthcare Management (HCM), as sister company of WHA that provides revenue cycle solutions to healthcare entities. Managing a menu of member-owned and partner programs, WHA delivers an ROI of more than 36:1 and has distributed more than $2m in revenue. Under the leadership of Boards of Directors and Chief Executive Officer, Carolyn Bruce, WHA has developed and implemented more than 45 collaborative services and programs. Centered on the support and teamwork of 23 Peer Networks, WHA programs focus on financial and operational performance improvement, purchasing, and education that increase access while reducing the cost of healthcare.
