Turning Point, founded in 1967 and located in Fort Collins, Colo., offers a range of services to youth and their families in northern Colorado, southern Wyoming and nearby communities. Its services include substance abuse treatment and education, residential and transitional services, state approved education programs and aftercare to youth and their families. Turning Point provides individual, family and group therapy, psychological care and evaluation, medication management, on-site education program, and service learning education program. Additionally, it offers drug and alcohol treatment, music and art services and therapeutic recreation .The majority of Turning Point youth are referred by the Departments of Human Services and Youth Corrections. The nonprofit agency provides treatment in a structured and therapeutic environment, and has the capacity to serve nearly 120 youth and their families each day.
