Overview We invite you to enter our community to share Christian fellowship with us in a place for solace, strength, reconciliation and renewal in Christ. St. John's is a spiritual sanctuary in a turn-of-the-century church in the heart of Boulder. We are an inclusive church, striving to break down barriers between people and serving all those who seek spiritual sustenance and clarity. Worship services at St. John's are planned with care and reverence to insure that worshippers encounter the living presence of our risen Lord through word and sacrament. Superb sacred music accompanies our worship, adding depth and texture to the experience. The variety of ministries here offers parishioners many ways to participate more fully in the life of the community. Our ministries include: Eucharistic ministers, pastoring ministers, a spirituality group, pastoral care team, altar guild, church library, prayer groups ( contemplative prayer and Daughters of the King ), and spiritual formation for children, youth and young adults. From contemplation to social activism, you can find a way at St. John's to answer your call to serve. We support a growing ministry in Cuba as well as in Haiti. We join forces with other downtown churches in Boulder to help the homeless, hosting a monthly downtown soup kitchen and supporting Carriage House, a resource center for the homeless. Our parish also collects and distributes needed items for local organizations each month. There are numerous opportunities to share your God-given skills, gifts and talents. A good way to experience our community is to come and worship with us at one of our services. We want to do all we can to help you find your way in our active and vibrant faith community. Let us know how we may be of help.
