History
Rosemount was built as a private family home in 1893 and the original family lived in the mansion until 1968. Upon the death of the last family member in 1968, heirs of the mansion donated it to the people of Pueblo. It opened as a museum that same year.

Rosemount is a 125-year-old Victorian house museum featuring 85% of its original furnishings, woodwork, textiles and more. Guided tours offer information regarding the house and the John A. Thatcher family who built the home.
