History
It all began with a 3 year old boy in 1987, and a single mom. Active duty in the USNavy and stationed in Spain, I had to keep my son busy while I cooked Christmas dinner for over 20 single sailors and their kids. TV was not an option but I had pretzels, chocolate chips, and a microwave. For more than 4 hours, he dipped and bagged enough pretzels so that every guest had a gift from Nik when they arrived. Our love for making edible gifts continued throughout the years. Many years later, I left the world of IT high stress and went to culinary school, a long past dream. Originally the intent was to become a caterer but the love of sweets that delighted the eyes and palate steered me to France, Flagstaff Restaurant, the Brown Palace, and eventually Robin Chocolates was born with the sale of a dozen boxes for Valentine's 2008. It's not just chocolate - it's my dream, my passion, my life!
