Located in Aurora, Colo., Regis Jesuit High School is a Catholic, college preparatory high school that serves students in grades nine through 12. Founded in 1877, it offers single-gender education by operating two separate divisions. The high school offers various academic courses, including honors classes, advanced placement and credit courses through Regis University in Colorado. Its academic courses include business, English, mathematics, physical education, science, humanities, theology and world languages. The high school is located on more than 60-acre campus that contains boys and girls divisions, with various facilities, such as a gymnasium, multimedia library, chapel, athletic fields, tennis courts, field house, swimming pool, theater and grounds. Its library has a large online database and reference materials, including books, magazines, newspapers and various audiovisual sources. Additionally, it provides various athletic activities, including basketball, hockey, football, lacrosse, wrestling, and swimming and diving.
