Mead maker Deborah Lee crafts traditional meads derived from a wide array of unique varietal honeys. Special batches include: Barrel collaborations with local distilleries, Colorado Apple Cyser and Peach Melomel, Pyments, Metheglins, and Great Meads. Even a seasonal Rhodomel. Queen Bee works to get as close to the source as possible with all of our ingredients. Honeys, fruit, spices, even right down to the water. We draw it directly from Colorado's world renowned Eldorado Springs. For those special things that just don't grow nearby we look with an eye toward sustainability and support the small producing families. Traditional style meads from special varietal honeys, meads aged in barrels from local distilleries, fruits grown close to or at home - organic whenever we can. We strive to get as close to the source as possible with all our ingredients, right down to the water we use that's collected directly at the mountain spring. For those special things that just don't grow in these here parts, we look to obtain them through the most direct route possible, with an eye toward the farmer before a corporation.
