HistoryMindful Awakening Counseling & Wellness began with the intention to support individuals struggling with developmental trauma, addictions, self identity, community, accessing emotions, and desiring a deeper relationship with themselves and their body. It is a place for healing, growth, and development. As a Trauma Informed Yoga Therapist, I create a safe space for individuals struggling with anxiety and those who identify with trauma to practice yoga and use the teachings of yoga to assist in self-regulation and their ability to handle trauma response situations. I am a facilitator for the Overcome Anxiety Clinic offering clinics (Overcome Anxiety: A Natural & Holistic Approach) in Denver, CO. The clinic is a 4-part series offered over the course of 8 weeks.
