Located in Denver, Mount Saint Vincent is a nonprofit organization that offers a range of emotional and behavioral development services to children. The center provides services and programs for children at home, in the community and in school. The children are referred by various agencies, school systems and insurance companies. It was founded by the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth in 1883. The center provides residential services, such as cottages for children between ages 5 and 12. Its Aspen House is a community-based residential child care facility for children between ages 7 and 12. The center also provides a day treatment and early learning center. It offers variety of services, such as summer school and recreation programs; parenting classes with wrap-around services; psychiatric counseling; medication monitoring; outpatient counseling; respite care; and foster services.
