History
Over time the original foundation had deteriorated. The master plan consisted of the best restaurant equipment as well as roughly 5,000 lbs. of brick/river rock and 4,000 lbs. of granite to finish one truly unique two sided indoor/outdoor bar.The solid wood beams, 2,000 lbs., from a local saw mill and over 450 lbs. of rusted corrugated tin help create the unique rustic look of the now working restaurant. The bar, that now stands with it's custom granite pieces quilted together from various Starwood homes in Aspen, was once a homey living room, complete with the old cast iron cook stove that still warms this room in the winter. Bedrooms were once located in the back dinning room that now seat up to 40 guests and the small kitchen that made a handful of dinners a night now serve anywhere up to 185 on a busy evening. In 2003 a 400 square foot top of the line heated tent was constructed.Used year round for an additional 40 seats or can be set up as a custom party room available with live music
