History
Welcome to the Historic Ute Inn. The building was built in 1938 with the bar established in 1942, making it the oldest restaurant and bar in Woodland Park. It has been the home to many colorful characters throughout the 'old west' days. Stories abound about the wild times that were had after a hard day of ranching, mining, or just plain riding. The bar has survived hard times by serving cold beer with gambling in the 'back room', unless a government man happened to come by. Since then, it has seen everything from horses to motorcycles come thru the front door and their riders belly up to the bar for an ice cold brew. The restaurant has served great food for many years to area residents and hungry travelers. We hope you enjoy our authentic rustic atmosphere and great home cooking. If there is anything we can do to make your stay better, just ask. We're here to serve YOU!
