History
The name Grounded Resilience comes from my personal and professional theory of wellness. I believe that when we are able to be fully present and authentic with ourselves and others we are better able to adapt in the face of adversity. When we experience physical or emotional stress it impacts our minds and bodies together, often creating enduring beliefs about our inferiority and a lasting imprint on our muscles that can contribute to medical illnesses and lower our immune systems ability to fight off infection. By intervening on multiple levels we can develop a sense of purpose and meaning through uncovering the story our bodies are holding onto, experiencing belonging through the encouragement of others in our social environment, and empowering others to do the same.

Grounded Resilience, LLC offers Trauma informed psychotherapy, yoga classes, supervision/consultation, and training in mind and body interventions that empower members of the community to join together and foster their internal strength in the face of hardship.
