Fire Adapted Colorado (FACO) is a statewide network dedicated to promoting wildfire resilience and creating safer communities in Colorado. Through their interactive network map and directory, FACO connects participants and partners who share valuable resources aimed at addressing the challenges posed by wildfires, fostering preparedness, and building more resilient communities.
With a focus on wildfire issues, FACO offers a reference library with resources for each component of their Fire Adapted Communities (FAC) framework. Led by an experienced team, including Executive Director Rebecca "Becca" Samulski, FACO works closely with place-based practitioners, county representatives, wildfire councils, fire protection districts, and watershed collaboratives to support community fire resilience across the state.
