History
In December of 1954 the founders of Columbine Country Club put up the initial capital to purchase the 360 acre Heckendorf farm on which the clubhouse, golf course and various other facilities now sit. Soon after the completion of the Championship Course, Columbine applied to host a national PGA Championship Tournament. The request was granted, and 1967 was designated as the year Columbine Country Club would host the tournament. Many years later, Columbine Country Club still delivers a sophisticated, family-oriented experience for its members.
