Laken Eyler, PA-C
Taking a team approach to treating patients and a general desire to influence and participate in our community positively motivates her in the approach to wellness with orthopedic patients. For more than a decade, Physician Assistant Laken Eyler has been treating orthopedic injuries from urgent to emergent, fueled by the desire to improve patients' quality of life and get them back to all the activities they love to do on the Western Slope! She describes the excitement of what treating orthopedic trauma patients meant to her at the beginning of her career but acknowledges these days, a clinic setting is exactly where she wants to be. Being in a clinic now allows her to have a more focused and long-term approach to patients, something she’s looking forward to as part of the robust FHW Orthopedic team. Like most in Western Colorado, she shares a passion for mountain biking, hiking, and generally being outdoors. She has volunteered with Colorado Discover Ability over the years, but these days, she spends most of her time chasing around her two children, trail running, and gardening. In her time away from the clinic, she is always on the lookout for a good cup of coffee and planning her next travel adventure.
