The World Arena is located at the base of beautiful Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs, Colo. Built in 1998, the World Arena serves a metropolitan population exceeding 500,000 people, with more than one million people within a 30-minute drive. The arena boasts a concert capacity of approximately 9,400 and an Ice Hall, which features both Olympic- and NHL-size ice sheets. The World Arena is home to Division I Colorado College's Men's Hockey, the United States National Short Track Speed Skating team, the Broadmoor Skating Club and numerous world-class figure skaters. Beyond these, the facility also hosts numerous other events, such as job fairs and national conferences
