History
Trina Woods, Doctor of Chiropractic, is a functional medicine practitioner. Functional medicine seeks to identify and address the root causes of disease, and views the body as one integrated system. Functional medicine provides chronic care management with the belief that diet, nutrition, and exposure to environmental toxins play central roles in the predisposition to illness. Dr. Trina received her Bachelor of Science from Metropolitan State College of Denver. Dr. Trina received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL. She is trained in primary care and is able to diagnose and treat a variety of musculoskeletal as well as internal medicine ailments. After graduating from Chiropractic College, Dr. Trina practiced in Chicago and then returned home where she has been practicing since 2002 in Congress Park before opening Balanced Body Center. Balanced Body Center is located in the Beauvallon building located on 10th and Lincoln.
