HistoryGold Medal Martial Arts opened in 2006 but traces its roots in Santa Clarita back to 1989 when the first ATA studio was opened in Canyon Country, CA. by the Lewis Brothers. Its current owner, Robert Gast, was a young martial arts competitor who just received his Black Belt. After many years, and a new owner, Mr. Robert Gast purchased the school in 2006 and rebranded it Gold Medal Martial Arts! Starting in a small, humble location, GMMA grew to a full sized, fully functional, professional martial arts & fitness facility in only 6 years.
