Miki Bousso is a Certified Yoga Instructor, Pilates Instructor and Yoga Therapist. She began her yoga practice over 20 years ago, and has trained in Vinyoga, Iyengar Yoga, Anusara Yoga and Stott Pilates. Later she became more interested in Yoga for Special Therapeutic Needs, and so she trained as a Certified Yoga Therapist and studied Therapeutics with Master Teacher Aadil Palkhivala. She is also a Clinical Ayurvedic Therapist (CAT) after having completed her studies in Ayurveda, the ancient Indian Healing System. Miki teaches group classes, yoga and pilates, at a few locations in the South Bay Area such as Sunnyvale, Los Altos, Santa Clara, Cupertino, and Mountain View. Miki also hosts private yoga sessions for special therapeutic needs at her home studio. She specializes in Yoga for posture and back pain.

Tuesday Yoga-Pilates-Nia Dance class: Enjoy a fun total body workout that feels like a fitness party! If you like yoga and pilates, and you also like to dance, you'll love this class. Although it is low impact, and safe for your back and knees, you will sweat! We begin by dancing to up-beat music, incorporating movements from Martial Arts, Yoga and Dance, and then we will move through a sequence of pilates and yoga poses to strengthen the core and improve flexibility, balance and posture. Thursday Yoga: Through a series of yoga poses, we focus on improving flexibility, stretching and strengthening the spine, developing core strength, and improving posture and functional mobility, with a focus on back care and correct alignment. Everyone practices at their own level, and modifications are taught to overcome limitations. You will end the class feeling relaxed, energized and an inch taller! Style: Iyengar and Viniyoga.
