Operational for more than 25 years, the Fremont/Newark YMCA is a charitable, nonprofit organization that offers a variety of sports, camping and family enrichment activities through its child care centers and parent child programs. It conducts classes in cardio kickboxing, yoga, Pilates, and use of cardiovascular and weight machines. The organization offers a preschool program that includes specialized curriculum to assist children with cognitive, social, emotional and physical development through play and small-group learning activities. Fremont/Newark YMCA s child care program includes a variety of recreational and enrichment activities for students in kindergarten through grade six.
