Yamato Sushi & Teppan Grill is located in the Encino Town Center on Ventura Boulevard between Louise and Amestoy avenues. It serves traditional Japanese cuisine, sushi and tempura. The restaurant also features a teppan grill. Upon entering, you can choose either the regular dining room or choose to sit in the teppan section, where a chef comes to your table and cooks your food in front of you. The teppan meals come with soup and other appetizers. There is also a sushi bar for customers to sit at and a fully-stocked liquor bar.
