Specialties
At Woods University, we are committed to Positive Reinforcement Training. It's a reward-based, humane method that's highly effective. With this method, dogs learn faster, without fear of harsh punishment, and there's no better way to ensure that training is fun...for both you and your dog. Woods University offers a variety of classes to address your dog's specific needs. With our Basic Obedience Classes, you and your canine companion will learn the commands necessary for a well-mannered dog including Sit, Down, Come, Stay and Heel, as well as effective and humane ways to discourage unwanted behaviors such as jumping and pulling. Additional offerings include advanced training classes, specific-needs classes which focus on fearful, reactive or hypersensitive dogs, agility classes and, just for smaller dogs, our Petite Pals program.
