Woodlands Pure Vegetarian Indian Cuisine specializes in southern Indian dishes and was recognized as one of L.A.'s Best of 2009 in the L.A. Times. It offers an all-vegetarian lunch buffet during the week with items such as, dahi vada and vegetable briyani. It also caters and makes its own dosa --a special pancake made with rice and lentils--on-site. Woodlands serves poori and paratha bread as well. For dessert, there is kulfi, which is a homemade ice cream, and mango lassi. Its facilities include a large banquet hall next door to the restaurant.
