Located in the heart of Hamilton, the Marin Museum of Contemporary Art is dedicated to exemplary works made by local and national artists. Since 2000, Marin MOCA has offered classes and workshops in ceramics, portrait and figure drawing, painting and more. Exhibitions feature local prominent artists when possible. Each Summer and Fall, the museum hosts a National Juried Exhibition for artists 18 and older. There's also an annual Fund Raising Exhibition and Auction. Admission is free and it takes about an hour to view the museum's exhibits. There is a cafe next door.
