Founded in 1979, Vista Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired is a nonprofit agency serving the needs of the blind and visually impaired people. Based in Santa Cruz, Calif., the company originally operated under the name Santa Cruz Resource Center. Presently, Vista Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired is a part of Vista Center, which is a source for individuals with vision loss in San Mateo, Santa Clara, San Benito and Santa Cruz counties. Serving individuals of all ages, the agency offers training and support groups for families and caregivers of its blind and visually impaired clients.
