Ventura City Parks Division is a part of the Public Works Department of city of Ventura. The parks system includes more than 700-acres of parkland and facilities. It provides a wide range of activities, such as sailing, surfing, tennis, league sports, skateboard parks, bike paths and several picnic areas. Ventura City Parks Division also offers two par 72 championship golf courses. The division also provides a more than 100-acres community sports park that features aquatics center, water slides, competition pool, multiuse sports fields and bike paths. It additionally offers two dog parks, including Camino Real park, which has a fenced off-leash area and Arroyo Verde park that allows dogs to be off leash during specific hours.
