The Chula Vista Border Patrol Station, located in San Diego, California, is responsible for linewatch operations along the U.S.-Mexico border. Built in 1985, the station covers an area stretching from the San Ysidro Port of Entry to approximately 5 miles east of the Otay Mesa Port of Entry.
Formerly known as Old 819, the Chula Vista Station served as a substation of Chula Vista and was responsible for patrolling the west side to the Pacific Ocean. Today, its main focus is on detecting and interdicting any unauthorized entry into the United States between the ports of entry.
