UNA-USA East Bay Information & UNICEF Center was founded in Berkeley in August 1964. For many years, the Chapter was on the second floor of a co-op on Shattuck and Cedar then at Shattuck and Delaware then moved to Addison and Sacramento-then to 2539 Telegraph Ave, Berkeley, CA -At the front of the former Center for Independent Living) Our current location is inside University Lutheran Chapel on College Ave @ Haste St. 2425 College Ave Berkeley CA 94704

A small shop operated entirely by volunteers. This 40 year old establishment has served as an information and as resource center to the community and educators on the work of the United Nations and its family of agencies. We stock flags from all members nations of the UN for rent or sale and are a distributor of cultural awareness education maps from Many Ways to See The World. The gift shop carries United Nations memorabilia and UNICEF merchandise.. After Labor Day the store is stocked with fair trade accessories, bath products, apparel and housewares from around the world for your holiday shopping. We carry a full selection of UNICEF holiday cards. The proceeds from the sale of these cards are donated back to UNICEF to support the vital work of UNICEF around the world.
