History
We are a project that grew out of the pandemic. With everyone ordering take-out, we came up with the idea of Filipino-Comfort food for our friends and family to take home. Growing up as first-generation Filipinos, we wanted to preserve our culture through our food for the next generation of Filipinos to come. We created our shareable boxes, called Baon boxes, with differing themes, and posted them to our following on Instagram. After a few months worth of sales, we later made our way into our first location located in the Soma district of San Francisco. We are now open for indoor dining and also offering our food through DoorDash & UberEats
Specialties
Uncle Tito provides Filipino-American comfort food. Original takes on Filipino food inspired by the classics. Our specialty is our shareable boxes, called Baon (ba-on) box. These are meant to be a dining experience shared between 2-4 people for a night in, any occasion or event, or a solo dinner with lots of leftovers! I also must say that our Sizzling Pork Sisig, Lechon Kawali, and Garlic Adobo Wings are the most popular dishes we offer. You can currently find us on DoorDash, UberEats, and Indoor Dining located at 59 9th St.
