Prior to that, since 1979, Howard J Cohen, Ph.D., the Principal, was doing software development consulting as an unincorporated individual. The organization began doing expert witness work in 1997 as well, but this became the exclusive focus in 2004.SpecialtiesCohen Software Consulting, Inc. provides expert witness services in software intellectual property litigation. We work with attorneys to provide the technical analysis in cases involving software patents, trade secrets, copyrights and business practices. We have the ability to analyze complex software applications and communicate our understanding and analysis clearly and fluently both in writing and in face-to-face interactions with technical peers, attorneys and judges as well as lay juries.
